#057: Line Brawl

Gary from Line Brawl supports many artists but he is definitely not a fan of Phil Anselmo.

Song clips this episode:
Worthless
Fitting The Mold

See the final Line Brawl show Thursday, August 1st 2019 at Mutiny Information Cafe.

UPDATE: Here is Betraying the Martyrs’ gofundme to recover after their van fire: https://www.gofundme.com/f/betraying-the-martyrs-serious-auto-incident

Gary referenced a clip of Phil Anselmo either implying or directly stating that metal is for white people and rap is for black people. I mentioned I heard something about it but I have not been able to find that clip.

#056: Over Time + Exclusive

Denver’s Over Time combines punk, hardcore and hockey – three of the most popular Metalix interests – into a fast-paced, highly moshable sound catchy enough to stick in your head for days after their live show.

Over Time dropped into the Metalix studio to chat for episode #056 but they were also kind enough to shoot an exclusive track into the Metalix.blog five-hole before they officially release Decades Saturday, July 13th at Summit Music Hall.

OK, enough hockey metaphors.

Listen to the Metalix exclusive “Walls” here.

Hear Over Time on Metalix below and on iTunes, Spotify and Google Play Music.
